       As an important site for popular science education at home and abroad, the museum integrates exhibition and interaction, education and research by utilizing advanced modern electronic technology, enabling visitors to learn basic geological knowledge, and to understand the unique geoheritage, diverse eco-environment, and ethnic history and culture within the geopark.   The museum covers an area of 8,100 square meters, and it has a building area of 8,105 square meters. The indoor exhibition area is 5,000 square meters. The outer walls of the museum are decorated with horizontal bands, which implies the unique feature of the granite stone forest in the geopark. In the middle of the museum, there is an embossment column with Inner Mongolian characteristics. The three-story museum has a geoheritage exhibition hall, an eco-environment exhibition hall, a geological specimen exhibition hall, a history and culture exhibition hall, a science auditorium, a 4-D cinema, a VIP room, a library, and a gallery.
       Hexigten Global Geopark in the parks were built four museums (museum), a geological and cultural park, 7 tourist information centers, with a total area of ​​20,000 square meters.
